Sealing the doors down under

A new generation of rolling stock destined for Queensland, Australia will feature specially designed brush strip seals for doors from Kleeneze-KOTI. The 75, 6-car electric trains will operate on the South East Queensland rail network, replacing the aging fleet and increasing passenger capacity by 30%.

Working closely with the component manufacturer, Kleeneze-KOTI’s design team worked to reduce the material and assembly time of the custom-formed carriage door seals.

The new trains will be brought into service over the next 3 years.
