Description

With safety in mind, Escalator Safetystrip assists in the prevention of sidewall entrapment accidents on moving escalators. The durable brush deflectors provide a tactile reminder to passengers to keep their feet and clothing away from the hazard zones, between the moving step and the stationery sidewall, reducing the risk of an entrapment incident.

Simple to install and maintain, Escalator Safetystrip complies fully with European EN115 and American A17 codes.

Factory fitted to new escalators or retro-fitted as part of a general installation or modernisation programme, Escalator Safetystrip is installed on escalators in metros, airports, shopping malls and department stores worldwide.

Escalator Safetystrip suits all types of escalator sidewall. Where space is restricted, our patented foot insert system enables profiles to bridge raised decking features. Choose the profile which best meets your needs and complete the survey form to enable us to supply the correct kit for your escalator.

Each kit includes sufficient incline length for both sides of one escalator, top and bottom transition curves, fairing ends, end caps, fixing screws and fitting instructions.
